Do you have an idea for a dream machine?
We invite you to upload your idea(s):
1/ Invent your Dream Machine - anything goes (well..., almost), as long as you really, really want it!
2/ Make a drawing of it - could be small or big, simple or complicated - you choose!
3/ Take a picture of your drawing and upload it - and receive your personalised MyMachine Diploma as Dream Machine Inventor!
tip: —upload your idea in your own language (it doesn't have to be English)—
ARE YOU A TEACHER IN PRIMARY SCHOOL AND WANT TO JOIN WITH YOUR CLASS ?
➡️ sign up to our mailinglist to get notified when we launch our new MyMachine DreamsDrop Campaign 2022.
This is how it works:
1/ once a year we run an OPEN CALL TO ALL PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS AROUND THE WORLD to join with their class. They invent a dream machine and you upload them to our world-map.
2/ Each child (each upload) gets its own personalised MyMachine Diploma sent to you by e-mail.
3/ Then we pick some ideas (it's not a competition, but more like 'winning the lottery') from the world-map and ask university students to build a proof-of-concept. These university students make pictures and videos of their work. You'll be able to share the results with your class.
Our MyMachine DreamsDrop Campaign 2021 was launched in January.
❤️ Teachers from 21 countries joined the call.
We picked 39 ideas, and university students in Belgium (Howest University of Applied Sciences) and Mexico (Monterrey Tech) are creating proof-of-concepts as we speak.
🌐 Stay tuned for their results (expected June 2021).
As part of our MyMachine DreamsDrop 2020 Campaign, we have picked 15 dream machine ideas from this world map: from Mexico, Ecuador, South Africa, Mozambique and India. They have been designed and build by students at the School of Industrial Product Design at Howest University of Applied Sciences (Belgium): take a look at the wonderful results.
