What will this machine do?
A caixa secreta serve para guardar coisas secretas.
Para abrir as gavetas tem de se colocar um lápis no buraco que existe na caixa e rodar.
Para abrir a primeira gaveta roda-se uma vez o lápis e para abrir a segunda gaveta rodam-se duas vezes.

Senti necessidade de ter uma caixa onde posso ter alguns segredos guardados ou objetos pessoais.

This Dream Machine idea has been elaborated as part of the MyMachine DreamsDrop Campaign 2020
We selected this Dream Machine idea to be part of the MyMachine DreamsDrop 2020 Campaign. In total 15 ideas were selected from participating primary schools in Mexico, Ecuador, South Africa, Mozambique and India.
100 Industrial Product Design Students from the Industrial Design Center at HOWEST University of Applied Sciences (Belgium) have been working on these 15 ideas to translate them into product concepts. They were guided by university professors Erwin Deibel, Heino Labbeeuw, Katrijn Sabbe, Leen Deprez, Lieven David and Nils Ferlin.
The students only had 2 days. The results -considering such a short term- are astonishing.

Here is how it was done for the Caixa Secreta from the Escola Portuguesa de Mozambique:
